Dirtbag Republic was formed in 2014 by Sandy Hazard & Mick Wood. The band released their self titled debut in 2015, receiving favorable reviews from Classic Rock, Vive Le Rock, SleazeRoxx, The Rockpit etc. and ending up on some year end best of lists. In 2017 band released Downtown Eastside and again was received very favorably by music critics and fans, landing as the No.8 best album of 2017 on The Rock Pit (Australia).
In 2020 Dirtbag Republic signed with Shock Records/VMG to release their next record "Tear Down Your Idols" in 2021 on CD/LP
The band are influenced by Hanoi Rocks, Aerosmith, KISS, Cheap Trick, Rolling Stones, Sex Pistols
